Our Guide
Guide dogs are a great help to people that are blind. They can see what blind people can’t see. They also protect their owners from falling or hurting themselves because they are blind.
We, as Christians, also have a Guide but our Guide loves and cares for us even more than a dog ever could. Psalms 48: 14 says: “For this is God, our God forever and ever; He will be our guide even to death.” God is our guide. He can see what we can’t see. He is the One who guides us around things we didn’t know were even there. We have a choice - we can let go of our fears and what we want to do and let God be our confidence, as Proverbs 3:26 says: “For the LORD will be your confidence, and will keep your foot from being caught” or we can do what we want and continue to live in sin. The Bible warns us of going on that path in Proverbs 4: 14-15 when it says: “Do not enter the path of the wicked, and do not walk in the way of evil. Avoid it, do not travel on it; Turn away from it and pass on.”
There is a great contrast between those two choices as Proverbs 4:18-19 says: “But the path of the just is like the shining sun, that shines even brighter unto the perfect day.” But “The way of the wicked is like darkness; They do not know what makes them stumble.”
What path will you chose? Proverbs 4:26-27 says: “Ponder the path of your feet, and let all your ways be established. Do not turn to the right or the left; Remove your foot from evil.”
Hope you liked it!!
That was great! Good job. :D
